Chavinka Sumanatilleke is the Director of Engineering of Roush Life Sciences (RLS), a division of Roush Enterprises, Inc. RLS designs and develops innovative laboratory research products and medical devices.

Mr. Sumanatilleke, who has more than 10 years of medical device program management and manufacturing experience, is focused on RLS’s new product development, design and prototyping activities as well as quality improvements. Before joining Roush Life Sciences in early 2009, Mr. Sumanatilleke was a program manager for Scientific Molding Corporation handling multi million dollar molding/ assembly programs for various fortune 500 Healthcare customers. Prior to Scientific Molding Corporation Mr. Sumanatilleke worked at Cycles Incorporated as a plastics quotations engineer and then as a project engineer with main focus on healthcare customers.

Mr. Sumanatilleke holds a bachelors and a master’s degree in Plastics Engineering from University of Massachusetts, Lowell and a Certificate in Program Management from Boston University. He and his family reside in Salem, NH.
